While spring breeze kissed the Tai Lake, a feast of culture was offered to the citizens. Following hosted the “Jiamuwenxin- Taihu Cultural Furniture of Tai Lake Ming and Qing Dynasties Fair and Summit Forum” successfully in 2012, New World International will bring the citizens another feast of culture in spring and summer of year 2013- New World International Cultural Art Fair 2013.

This Fair, co-hosted by Industrial Expo Park of Wuxi New District, Artron.net, Jiangsu Collectors Association, Wuxi Collectors Association, New World International, Seminar of Wu-Yue Culture, presenting ten thousands of original collection and artworks from Culture and Art Organizations, famous artists, and collectors from Wuxi, all over the country, Korea and Taiwan, was started on May 18 and lasted for 17 days. Leaders and guests such as Huangwei-Deputy Chairman of Hong Kong Commercial Daily and President of Shenzhen New World Group, Houwei-General Manager of Wuxi New World International, Wu Jianxuan and Tan Xueming-former Deputy Mayor of Wuxi, Pang Jianxin-leader of China Industry Expo Park, Huang Shengping- Group Leader of Leading Group for Cultural Industries Management of Committee of New District of Wuxi People’s Government and Chairman of Jiangsu Seminar of Wu-Yue Culture, Chen Ruinong-Chairman of Wuxi Collectors Association, Zhu Wenyi-General Manager of Artron.com attended the ceremony. At 10 am, Huangwei, Deputy Chairman of Hong Kong Commercial Daily and President of Shenzhen New World Group announced that the New World International Cultural Art Fair 2013(And Huifenghechang•Yachang Wuxi Net Friend Meeting) starts officially. Then, with the sound of salvo and warm applause, all leaders and guests visited the site of the Fair.

During this activity, qualified international well-known experts presented at Wuxi for the first time. Led by Huang Bangxu - senior national expert on antiques, miscellaneous items, ceramics and calligraphy and paintings, Deputy Secretary-general of Museums Association of China; experts on different fields like Huang Heqing-expert on jade and jewelry, Liu Liyi-expert on ceramics and miscellaneous items, Yue Zhaogui-expert on ceramic furniture ,and Zhou Shengmin-President of Yixing Academy of Creative purple sand items, National Crafts Master experts and purple sand appraiser offered free appraisals to treasures for collectors in New World International Expo Park. On the day of the event, the lobby for free appraisal was crowded with visitors. The site was very busy with collectors bringing their treasures to take free appraisal. The unprecedented expert team had attracted continuing attentions of all kinds of media. It provided the collectors and citizens a rare opportunity of learning.

This fair had received huge response in the field of culture collection in Wuxi and even the whole country. it set off a craze of collecting antiques, and drove the development and popularity of culture industry of this region. Meanwhile, New World International’s image was well displayed, and its popularity and reputation were enhanced. This will not only drive the investment promotion and promote prosperity of the market, but also offer a brand new sales pattern and platform to existing merchants.

After more than two year’s development, the production base of modern original furniture that combines design, research & development, production and sales which was built jointly by New World International and School of design of Jiangnan University has entered New World International and under operation. Jiangsu Wenbo School has moved into New World International as well, followed by local culture and art institutions of Korea and Taiwan. All of these have accelerated Wuxi’s pace of building itself a city of culture, and enriched its citizens’ spiritual and cultural life.

In the future, Wuxi New World International will keep responsive to the “Deepen reform of the cultural system and push the prosperity of socialist cultural development” policy put forth by the Party, and kept upholding the Four Core Concept of “Internationalization, Nationalization, Specialization and Localization” and to build industry benchmark. Through the establishment of Museum of Ming and Qing Dynasty Furniture, Fossil Museum, Mineral Crystal Museum, Museum of Chinese famous stones, and Yunnan, Xinjiang, etc. Featured Pavilions which includes ethnic culture, diet and entertainment, Wuxi New World International eventually developed itself into a cultural project which combines international cultural exchange, international ethnic culture, professional brand stores, regional characteristic culture, original culture, catering and entertainment, and can drive the development of relevant industries.
