Groundbreaking ceremony of Hongxing old industrial area urban renewal project, which located in Songgang Street, Baoan district, was held yesterday morning.

Chairman Huangwei of Shenzhen New World Group, community secretary WenDe of Songgang street, Hongxing community and chief 

leaders of other cooperated parties attended this groundbreaking ceremony.

This ceremony has claimed related fields’ highest attention and served as groundbreaking of Shenzhen New World's biggest project as 

well.

This Hongxing old industrial area revitalizing project is so far, the largest property development project of Shenzhen New World Group, as 

well as another demonstration of Shenzhen New World’s development philosophy and strength after New World Season Phase 1, New World 

Gateway City and business benchmarking New World Centre.

Located in shore of Songgang river in Songgang Street, Baoan District, north of Songming Blvd and south of Shajiang Road, 500 meters 

range of Songgang station served for both line 6 and line 11 as been introduced, this large mix-use project enjoyed total 3 billion capital 

investment with architecture area covers 700,000 ㎡,FAR being 4.8, and will be divided into two phases for development. Phase 1 covers 

approximate architecture area of 237905.7 ㎡(Above Grade area being approximate 184471㎡ ) with various property types like residential, 

apartment, commercial etc., which could meet requirement from different people. And with the competence of residential facilities in the 

future, this project would and will be premises with characters as ecological garden city, unique-designed house type, and humanity 

environment management once finish construction.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr.Huang Wei, chairman of Shenzhen New World Group, addressed passionate speech, “As a key 

development project of Shenzhen New World Group, Hongxing old industrial area urban renewal project will strictly focus on every detail to build top-notch production through first-class design, construction, supervision and management during construction, ”

It is learned that Hongxing old industrial area revitalizing project was listed in “Fist plan batch of Shenzhen Urban Renewal Unit Planning Scheme of Year 2010”. And the groundbreaking of Hongxing old industrial urban renewal project indicated Songgang, image of Shenzhen west area, will embrace a full upgrade of city outlook and dwelling pattern. The development and marketing of Shenzhen New World Hongxing old industrial urban renewal project will definitely illuminates a rapid development which could lead the whole district.
