The autumn wind brings people cool in this golden September. Shenzhen New WorldGroup relocated to the 53-54^th floors of the highest office buildingin Shenzhen central area. It completes its historical leap of 15 years’development with great attentions and praises from the public!

To remember the new chapter of Group’s development, “Office-warming Celebration ofShenzhen New World Group” was hosted on the lobby of the first floor of NewWorld Center on September 28, 9:28am. A banner saying “Today, we reach newheights” is the pithy summary of the fact that New World Group walks out Meilinand goes national, and is the reflection of the spirit of all New World stuffs.Picture Exhibition is held on site in the same period, displaying lots ofprecious old pictures taken during the Groups’ 15 years’ development.

From retaining 3 people to more than 1000 employees and from single-type real estatedeveloper to a large scale cross-industry enterprise that owns departmentstores, hotels etc. New World Group held a convention on the 4^thfloor of Jingtian Hotel to celebrate its relocation and review and giverecognition for the first half year’s work of the Group. All its leaders andemployees attended this convention.

At the convention, President Huang Wei gave a wonderful speech reviewing thedeveloping history of the Group. New World Group overcame all obstacles alongthe way.  New World Center- theInternational Grade A Office Building- , with a height of 238 meters, hadbecome the highest business building in Shenzhen central areas. And New WorldInternational Textile & Garments City, the world’s biggest wholesale terminalof textile & clothing, had opened on March 28, 2007; thousands of textileand clothing enterprises from home and abroad had moved in. “when these thingsare not done, many people thought these are impossible to accomplish. But wedid it”.

“New World is trying to be an everlasting enterprise which will grow better and better”said President Huang Wei.

In the evening of September 28, stuffs of New World Group gather at the 4^thfloor of Jingtian Hotel to celebrate the relocation. A party arranged, directedand performed by New World Group stuffs was held here. Stuffs of Marketing and planningdepartment of the Group brought a festive dance performance “Good Times”,department stores brought a hot jazz dancing “my humps”, and president Huangsang a song “The Great Wall Never Fall Down”. The party ended up with warmapplause.

New place, new start. New World Group moved into the highest office building in Shenzhencentral area, and will climb to a new height from this new start.

1993-1999 rooted in Meilin

On Mar.2rd, 1993, Shenzhen Baoan New World Industry Co. Ltd was established.Shenzhen New World Group started from here.

In May 1996, groundbreaking of “Hongmei Yuan” project, the first project thatShenzhen New World Group went into real estate industry. Shenzhen New WorldGroup’s journey of rooting in Meilin and specializing at urban renewal ofMeilin district began.

In December 2003, New World Department Stores,Shenzhen Luyin Grand Harbour Hotel Co. Ltd was established; the journey ofcross-industry development and diversification began.

On December 27, 2004, the construction of WuxiNew World International Textile and Garment City started, marking the beginningof Shenzhen New World Group’s cross-regional, multi-industry development.
