In preparation for the upcoming Beijing Olypic Games, China women’s basketball team will fight against Cuba’s women’s basketball team in Dongguan Stadium on July, 7^th. All top players of China’s national women’s basketball team, including Miao Lijie, Chen Nan, Sui Feifei, etc. will show up in Donguan, and may take part in the game.

China women’s basketball team is a new team consists of new and old team members, while veterans like Miao Lijie, Sui Feifei and Chen Nan are very experienced, new members who had outstanding performance in the tournament have become aggressive players after years of basketball playing. The cooperation between team members was strengthened gradually and they outside shots were improving.

Cuba’s women’s basketball team is a strong team famous for its fast attacks and flexible tactics. They are ranking 7^th in the FIBA now, beats other outstanding teams like Spain and Lithuania. It is said that Cuba’s team has great advantages to play inside, and its outside penetration is fierce, but it is weak at shooting, especially three-point shooting. Cuba’s women’s basketball team beat China women’s basketball team by 3 points in Brazilian World Championship 2006. In the Four Countries Tournament last June, Cuba team lost to China team by 7 points while it did not have enough members. It lost to China team by 2 points in August game.

Woman Basketball Match between China and Cuba is coming, so both teams want to win this fight to build confidence, so this will certainly be a big fight.
