New World Wenbo Center, alsoreferred to as New World Center Phase II, is a 5A+ office building enjoys aheight of 208 meters, and will be the next significant landmark building ofShenzhen New World Group. It is in thecenter of Futian District, located at the intersection of Xinzhou road andLianhua road, at the northwest corner of Lianhua Mountain Park and next toXinzhou River. Lianhua road is a major traffic artery that runs through andconnects East and West, while Xinzhou road is the important passage that leadsto Shenzhen highway and Bao’an International Airport.
The landmark location of NewWorld Wenbo Center is also an extension to the Lianhua Mountain in the CBDdevelopment zone planning. Once New World Wenbo Center is completed, from thenorth end of Xinzhou road, it will connects the existing Shenzhen Press GroupBuilding and Olympic Building at the south end of Xinzhou road and connectswith the new city centre.
The land area of this project is 5298 square meters. Thebuilding area of this building will be 104735 square meters, with 45 floorsabove the ground and 5 floors underground, and has 419 parking lots.
This project invites DiMarzio | Kato Architecture studio,the studio that designed the New World Business Center, to take charge of thearchitectural design. Unique streamlined façade is used while designing the bodyof the building. This makes it distinguished from the peripheral buildings andincorporates it into the planning of the whole city as well. The design isaesthetically pleasing and practical; it maintains important views of the cityand emphasizes natural environment, energy saving and environmental protection.The soft arcs of the building body and the natural shapes of the surroundingssilhouetted against each other, this will make the then built building atowering tree next to the Lianhua Mountain.
